Shipping and Free Delivery in Canada
Shipping & Free Delivery (Canada)
1) Where we deliver & free-delivery zones
Primary service area: Ontario & Québec (most metro and corridor locations).
- Ontario postal prefixes typically served: K • L • M • N • P
- Québec postal prefixes typically served: G • H • J
Canada-wide parcel shipping is available for many items. LTL freight to other provinces is case-by-case.
| Zone | Examples | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Metro/GTA–Montréal corridors | GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener, Ottawa; Montréal, Laval, Québec City | Free delivery offered when cart meets the current threshold |
| Regional ON/QC | Kingston, London, Windsor, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières | Free or reduced freight based on cart and items |
| Other provinces | MB, SK, AB, BC, Atlantic | Parcel/LTL quoted at checkout or by email |
Important: The cart/checkout displays the current free-delivery threshold and any promos for your address.

2) What qualifies for free delivery
- Order value threshold: displayed in cart/checkout. Thresholds may vary by address and item type.
- Eligible items: most cones, posts, belts, small barriers, signs/boards, portable lamps.
- Not eligible: oversize/heavy (see below), custom print orders, rush handling, remote/rural surcharges.
- One address, curbside: free delivery covers a single stop with curbside or dock delivery during business hours.
3) Service levels & lead times
Processing time: most in-stock orders ship within 1 business day. Custom print adds proof/production time.
- Metro ON/QC: typical transit 1–3 business days.
- Regional ON/QC: 2–5 business days.
- Other provinces/remote: as quoted at checkout.
Carriers: major parcel carriers and LTL freight. You’ll receive tracking when your order ships.
- Weather, construction detours, and carrier volume can add time.
- Holidays and inventory transfers may shift ship dates; we’ll notify you.
4) Oversize/heavy items & exceptions
- Examples: long posts/rails, large barriers, full pallets of cones, wheel stops, heavy cable ramps.
- These may ship via LTL on pallet and can be excluded from free delivery depending on address.
- Access limits: narrow streets, height/weight limits, or restricted sites can require special equipment.
- Hazardous materials: we don’t ship hazmat; batteries ship inside compliant solar lamps only.
5) Appointment, liftgate & site access
- Curbside/dock service: standard. Driver offloads to ground at curb/dock. Inside delivery is not included.
- Liftgate: add if you have no dock/forklift for pallets.
- Appointment/call-ahead: available on request for LTL; may extend lead time.
- Job sites: provide gate codes, contact names, and working hours to avoid re-delivery fees.
6) Remote, northern & construction sites
- Remote/rural: addresses outside normal carrier networks or with ferry/air legs may have surcharges and longer transit.
- Northern territories: some items are freight-quote only; we’ll confirm best routing.
- Construction closures: if a site is unavailable at delivery, carriers may charge re-delivery/hold fees.
7) Tracking, damage & shortages
- Tracking: emailed when your order ships. Check spam if you don’t see it.
- Inspect at delivery: count cartons/pallets; note any visible damage on the driver’s paperwork (BOL) before signing.
- Report issues fast: contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can resolve with the carrier.
8) Returns & exchanges (link)
See our policy here: Returns & Warranty. For freight returns, re-pack on the pallet when possible.
9) EN/FR notes & contact
- EN/FR documents: we can provide bilingual packing slips and delivery notes on request.
- Questions or time-critical deliveries? Contact Support with your PO/order number.
10) Legal / policy notes
This page summarizes how shipping and free delivery typically work. It is informational and not a contract. Offers, thresholds, and service areas can change; the cart/checkout and order confirmation are the controlling terms for a specific order. Carriers may apply remote, address-correction, appointment, liftgate, residential, or re-delivery surcharges. All amounts are in CAD. Where a written quote, tender, or contract sets shipping terms, that document prevails.
